Feline Information

Cats also need annual physical examinations!

Cats have a tendency to hide their problems making early detection of disease more difficult.

Routine examinations and bloodwork may catch diseases earlier and treatment can be more effective.

Surgery - Including Laser Surgery

The clinic has a fully equipped surgical suite, including laser surgery. Routine soft tissue as well as orthopedic surgeries are performed. The safest injectable and inhalant anesthetic agents available are used. Pre-anesthetic laboratory tests are performed routinely to minimize surgical risks. Patients are monitored closely by trained technicians and continuous pulse oximetry.

Knee Surgery

Anterior (Cranial) Cruciate Ligament (ACL / CCL) Surgeries as well as patellar luxation surgeries are performed at our clinic.

Wellness and Preventative Health Care
Depending on your pet's lifestyle, age, or breed, we will recommend appropriate preventive vaccinations, laboratory (blood & urine) work for early detection of disease, parasite detection and prevention recommendations, blood pressure testing andintra-ocular pressure testing (for glaucoma)

Are Teeth Important?

Dogs and Cats need dental care, too! Unfortunately, dental hygiene for our pets is sometimes overlooked. Many people seem to just expect dogs and cats to have bad breath, and few people brush their dog or cat's teeth frequently enough. Dental hygiene is just as important to your pet’s overall health as things like nutrition, proper exercise and routine grooming.

Pet Loss and Grief

Grief is natural and normal. Everyone grieves. Some show it often and openly. Others grieve privately. There is no wrong way to grieve.
Losing a pet can be as traumatic as losing a family member, because in many cases that's what they are. It's natural to have feelings of sadness and it takes time to overcome them.
